Connect your own GPS device
For fleet owners and administrators: use the GPS trackers that are already in your vehicles with the Filodos dashboard. You keep the hardware. Part of the documentation.
What works
Filodos accepts the data of most GPS trackers on the market. We change the settings of your trackers so that they send their data to the Filodos server. This table shows the functions that you get.

You can mix your own trackers and Filodos camera units in one fleet.
What we need from you
- The make, the model, and the number of trackers.
- The IMEI of each tracker, and the vehicle that it is in.
- A working SIM card with a data plan in each tracker.
- Access to change the tracker settings: the SMS password, the configuration tool, or the account at your current supplier.
- Your agreement to the date of the change.
The steps
- Send the information above to sales@filodos.gr.
- We confirm that Filodos supports your model. We send you a price for the setup.
- We prepare your organization in Filodos and register your trackers.
- On the agreed date, we change the server settings of each tracker.
- Drive one trip with each vehicle.
- We make sure that the positions, the trips, and the times are correct. Then we hand over the dashboard to you.
Tell your current supplier before the change. After the change, your trackers stop sending data to the old platform.
Rules and limits
- The setup has a one-off price for each fleet. The monthly price is the price of the Tracking plan. See Pricing.
- Your history in Filodos starts on the day of the change. The data on your old platform does not move to Filodos.
- Some suppliers lock the settings of their trackers. If your trackers are locked, ask your supplier to unlock them first.
- Filodos does not repair or update the firmware of trackers from other makers.
- Remote tachograph download is not available with this service. It is on our roadmap.
