Road safety

Filodos joins two Greek words: philia, which means care and friendship, and odos, which means road. We build tools that help drivers, families and the people who carry others to get where they are going safely.

What helps today

These functions work now. Each one is also marked on the features page.

  • Alerts for risky driving

    Available

    Speeding against the posted limit, harsh braking and acceleration, and long driving without a break appear on the trip where they happened.

  • Warnings from the camera

    Available

    Forward-collision, lane-departure, following-distance and pedestrian warnings from the camera arrive as events, with a photo.

  • SOS, collision and rollover

    Available

    Critical alarms arrive at once, with the location, the time and an automatic video clip.

  • A daily report for each driver

    Available

    A driver signs in and sees only their own vehicle and driving. A driver can also get their own report by e-mail.

  • A link to follow one journey

    Available

    Send a read-only link that expires. A school or a family sees one trip and nothing else. Use it with the consent of the people involved.

  • Coaching for drivers

    A short weekly list of drivers to talk to, with the trips and events behind it.

  • Alerts from the cabin camera

    In development

    Alerts for drowsiness, phone use and distraction, as the camera reports them.

Privacy and trust

Safety tools must respect people. These rules apply today.

  • Servers in the European Union

    Available

    Your data stays on servers in the EU, under the GDPR.

  • Clear retention

    Available

    Video is kept for 30 days and photos for one year. Then Filodos deletes them automatically.

  • A driver sees only their own data

    Available

    A driver login shows only the vehicle and the driving of that driver.
